1. About Us

The Service "iMee" (imee.app) is operated by iMee Team. For privacy inquiries, contact hello@imee.app.

2. Data We Collect

We collect and process the following data:

Diagnostic input data: Original data (names, dates of birth) is not stored. Only hashed (irreversibly transformed) values are stored for result caching.
Diagnostic results: Result type and content are stored linked to an anonymous user ID.
Email address: Stored encrypted only when voluntarily provided by the user.
Payment information: Credit card data is not stored by us. Stripe Inc. processes all payments directly.
Device ID: A randomly generated UUID is stored in your browser's local storage to associate diagnostic results with your device.

3. How We Use Data

Hashed input data: to return consistent diagnostic results and enable caching
Diagnostic results: for My Report, integrated analysis, and ranking features
Email addresses: to deliver diagnostic results and optional update notifications
Analytics data: to understand usage patterns and improve the Service

4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use the following cookies and tracking technologies:

Google Analytics: Anonymous access analytics (page views, session duration, region, etc.). IP addresses are anonymized. Opt out here.
Local storage: Used for theme preferences, user ID, and temporary diagnostic result storage.
Session storage: Used for temporary data during diagnostic flows.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services. Please review their respective privacy policies:

Anthropic (Claude API): AI diagnostic result generation. Input data is not used for Anthropic's model training.
Supabase: Database hosting (PostgreSQL). Data is stored with encryption.
Vercel: Web hosting. Access logs may be temporarily recorded.
Stripe Inc.: Payment processing. Operates under PCI DSS compliance.
Resend: Email delivery. Email addresses are shared only as necessary for delivery.
Google Analytics: Traffic analytics. Anonymized data is transmitted.
Cloudflare: Domain management & CDN. Used for traffic optimization and security.

6. AI Processing

Diagnostic input data is sent to AI (Claude by Anthropic) to generate results.
Per Anthropic's API policy, data submitted via API is not used for model training.
Data sent to AI includes hashed values and quiz answer scores — no personal information is sent directly.

7. Data Retention

Diagnostic results: retained until account deletion is requested.
Email addresses: deleted within 30 days of unsubscribing.
Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default (14 months).
Payment data: retained per Stripe's policies.

8. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your data:

Access: Request disclosure of the data we hold about you.
Deletion: Request deletion of your data.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
Unsubscribe: Opt out of emails via the link in every email.
Data export: Request an export of your diagnostic result data.

9. International Data Transfers

The Service operates globally. Data may be stored and processed on servers outside Japan (Vercel: US, Supabase: US). These services maintain appropriate data protection measures.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe data from a child under 13 has been collected, please contact us immediately.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

12. Policy Changes

This policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via email or other means.
